The Trauma-Informed Classroom

The classes in this section are created to help teachers who want to take a trauma-informed approach in their classrooms. The first course, Introduction to Trauma-Informed Teaching, is available for free on Skillshare. I recommend completing this course first so that you have a foundation before starting the more advanced classes.

Trauma-Informed Teaching in an Online Classroom

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have created a course that aims to take the tenants of trauma-informed teaching and implements them in an online classroom. This hour-long course is available for purchase directly from my website for $20 and includes an overview of trauma-informed teaching, discusses how to use these interventions and ideas in an online setting, and provides a demonstration of trauma-informed teacher-student interaction in an online setting.

Trauma-Informed Teaching with College Students

This course covers how trauma-informed teaching philosophy can be applied with students at the college or university level. Children who have survived trauma become adults who have survived trauma, so this course aims to help professors implement trauma-informed teaching at the college level. It is available for purchase on my website for $20.

Child Therapists

These courses are for therapists, counselors, clinical social workers, and psychologists who want to improve their skills working with children. The first class is aimed at helping therapists develop a toolbox for telemental health with children.
