App Review: MyLife

It’s time to learn about another wellness app! MyLife helps you be more mindful of your mental health and emotional needs.

Good Morning! How are you?

When you open the app, it cues you to check in by taking four steps (though it gives you the option to skip any step that you do not want to do or that is not a fit for your needs):

  1. Take a breath: Breathe deeply for 10 seconds.
  2. I’m physically…: Document how your physical body feels today.
  3. Mentally…: Check in with your mental health today.
  4. Emotionally…: List specific emotions you are feeling today. There are hundreds of emotions to choose from in the app!
Compassion

Based on your check in, the app recommends different activities, like mindfulness meditations, self-compassion, or grounding activities. It usually gives you a few to choose from, but you can also brows and choose your favorites.

Routine Maker

This app is a great tool for creating daily habits around meditation and mindfulness.
